Tournament Description: The German-Chinese Golf Association warmly invites all golf enthusiasts to gather at the association’s partner course, the Hösel Golf Course, for the opening of the 2025 golf year! This event is not only the kickoff to the new season but also a major golfing event that combines passion, competition, and friendship. Whether experienced players or new friends in the sport of golf – we look forward to your participation and to experiencing together the unique charm of golf.
Tournament Schedule:
• 09:00 – 09:30: Player registration (practice green next to parking lot), payment of green fees and collection of scorecards!
• 09:45: Opening ceremony and group photo
• 10:00: Official start of the tournament (groups tee off in turns)
• 15:30: End of tournament
• 16:00: Award ceremony held in the club’s restaurant
Competition Disciplines: Individual competition
Competition Rules:
• The event is a non-DGV handicap tournament. The maximum number of strokes per hole is double par. (The 234 rule applied by New New Belia will be automatically adjusted for you after the tournament.)
• DGV golf tournament rules apply as well as local course rules and special provisions by the association to combat slow play.
• Every participant must adhere to golf etiquette and course rules.
• For net scoring, the Double Peoria system by New New Belia is used for calculating handicaps and net points: Total points – Handicap (New New Belia) = Net points. Handicap: Sum of points from 12 randomly selected holes before the tournament *1.5 – Standard par for 18 holes *0.8.
• Special provisions against slow play: To ensure an appropriate pace of play, we will measure the time for submitting scorecards. If a group submits their scorecard more than 30 minutes after the previous group, their result will be annulled. If the following group has more players than the previous one, the time increases by 10 minutes.
Prize Categories:
• Individual Prizes: Overall winners men and women separately; net points are divided into two groups according to handicap, with first two places per group;
• Special Prizes: Nearest to Pin Prize: For all Par-3 holes there is a prize for nearest to pin without gender distinction. HIO (Hole-in-One): At hole 13 there is a Hole-in-One prize of €10,000. Additionally, a raffle will take place during the award ceremony; prizes will be announced after sponsors are confirmed!
Eligibility:
• Mainly Chinese golf enthusiasts in Germany are invited; other golf enthusiasts are also welcome. Requirements are as follows: Minimum age of 25 years and exclusion of the following persons: professional players; members of university teams; professional coaches; players who have retired from professional sports within the last five years; the organizing committee reserves the right to review and confirm final eligibility.
• The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 30 people (inclusive).

• Please register before the start of the tournament via the association’s website www.cgvd.org or contact us using the contact details below for personal registration.
• Registration deadline is March 31, 2024 at midnight.
Participation Fee:
• Green fee: Non-Hösel members €90; Hösel members free

• All participants should arrive at the venue on time for registration and warm-up.
• During the tournament, please adhere to course regulations and safety.
